HOW TO APPLY

STEP 1

  - Fill in our application form with your personal and payment details, once it has been received we will email you with confirmation within 24 hours

STEP 2

  - Within 14 days we will email you details of your placement for your acceptance.

STEP 3

  – Once you have accepted our Thai staff will then confirm your placement with the relevant authorities and forward to you by registered post the documentation required to assist you in obtaining a category 0 visa.

STEP 4

  - Apply to your nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate for your visa. You will also require a Police Clearance Report (see Police Clearance Report below).

Visa application

   To teach in Thailand as a volunteer you will need a Non Immigrant Type 'O" visa, which is obtainable from your local Thai Embassy or Consulate (You can download it from www.royalthaiconsul.com) upon presentation of a letter of invitation from your prospective school or organisation and a Police Clearance Report (see below). The letter of invitation will be sent to you once your application has been accepted and your placement confirmed.

Police Clearance Reports:

   As teaching involves positions of trust and responsibility the Thai government requires all prospective foreign teachers to submit a Police Clearance Report from the applicant's home country when applying for a visa. Depending on the country, this report can take from between 10 to 40 days to obtain, so once you have a confirmed placement apply for your report as soon as possible. Contact your nearest police station for the application forms.

   United Kingdom residents can download the application form here and then take it to their nearest police station.

Methods of payment
