Age is not important as this program is open to all ages and is in fact an ideal opportunity for retirees with all their life's experience to do something for the underprivileged.

2008 Competition - Win a free placement!

Again this year Vacations to Teach is running a writing competition with a 3 month volunteer placement* being the prize. All you have to do is write and tell us, in 300 words or less, what being a volunteer in a developing country means to you. Please send it to; info 'at' vacationstoteach dot com

The best entries will be published on this website and the winner chosen on 1^st of July 2008. The closing date for submissions is 1^st of June 2008.

They welcomes Volunteer Teachers to Thailand.

* The prize does not include Travel & Health Insurance; Transport from your home country to Nong Khai/Udon Thani; Visa Fees and visa extension fees; all meals apart from lunch when at place of teaching.
