Well, now you can as a volunteer teacher, this is the ultimative way of experiencing a different culture without the worry of traveling alone as you are part of a team with all the backup and knowledge only a local company has.
Vacations To Teach is an organization dedicated to providing education development to those less privileged. If you are able to read this, you are fortunate to have been educated to a level which gives you a great start in life's adventure. However there are countless others, living in developing nations, where the luxury of an education is not the norm.
Our present project is bringing motivated and highly enthusiastic English speakers to teach in schools in the North Eastern region of Thailand. Forget the bright lights and tourist traps of the more well known central and southern regions: Isan is where you will find the real Thailand. A unique area rich in its own culture and language where the legendary Thai smile and warmth greet foreigners on every street corner.

Being a visitor in Isan means being constantly greeted by young, inquisitive minds, all laughing and giggling, eager to speak to the 'long-nosed foreigner'. Unfortunately, despite often being able to read and write a little English, school children in Isan never have the chance to practice speaking English.
This is where you come in! If you are looking for an experience of a lifetime come and join our volunteers and bring the English language to life in the classrooms of Isan. You can be sure to be welcomed as volunteer.

Volunteer Teaching Abroad.
